Dr. Bunmi Adewunmi, DNP, CRNP, is a doctoral-prepared board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Mercy Seat Medical Primary Care. She has over 17 years of expertise in providing high-quality health services for both in-patient and out-patient care.

Dr. Bunmi obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Stevenson University in Baltimore, and her Master of Science in Nursing (Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner) from Walden University. Her commitment to excel in her professional career while also providing unrivaled holistic care to her patients propelled her to further her studies. This culminated in her securing a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Grand Canyon University in 2021.

A seasoned, compassionate, and conscientious provider, Dr. Bunmi combines her practical and professional expertise to provide excellent, ethical, and evidence-based medical care to all her patients. She is intentional, uncompromising, and committed to serving her community through her work. These core unique and enviable traits in her practice are what separate her from other medical providers.

Dr. Bunmi specializes in adult and Gerontology care with a focus on primary care, internal medicine, urgent care, and chronic care management such as diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia management, and many more. She welcomes all adult patients ages 18 and above, and provides in-person and/or telehealth services as needed. She believes that when care is client-centered and uniquely tailored to address individual needs, there is a greater chance for improved health outcomes.
